Plan Goals

In collaboration with the City of Atlanta, Atlanta Public Schools, and Atlanta Urban Development, this community-driven planning process will explore opportunities for accessible and inclusive housing options—supporting affordability, equity, and long-term neighborhood stability.

Potential Uses:
Affordable Housing as overarching priority, anchor mixed-use development that may also include the following priorities and community amenities:
• Affordable Housing with Community Resources (arts, nonprofit use, etc.)
• Affordable Housing with Greenspace  
Minimum Affordable Housing Requirements:  
Requirements and Priorities for Affordable Housing based on Area Median Income (AMI) percentage: ·     
• 20% units at50% AMI
• 10% units at 80% AMI

Community Engagement Timeline

PURPOSE OF THE COMMUNITY ADVISORY TEAM (CAT):
The CAT will:
• Consist of 4 dedicated local stakeholders, including residents, business owners, youth, and faith leaders.
• Have monthly meetings beginning January 2026.
• Provide input on design, land use, and community goals
• Represent diverse voices in the neighborhood (renters, homeowners,
longtime residents, small businesses)
• Serve as a communication bridge between the project team and the community
